Field of Screams is the debut feature film of filmmaking team Evan Runkle and Alix Moad. Born out of their love for horror movies and inspired by their childhoods in southeast Iowa, Field of Screams is an homage to rural horror that delights in genre tropes while keeping the story’s emotional core front and center.
Following the death of his grandfather, Allen Crowe inherits an old farmhouse. When he and his friends arrive at the farmhouse, they expect to find time-worn tchotchkes and family memories - what they don’t expect to find is Billy.
